Next year for longer...

Hi,

Next year I'm considering taking time out/sabbatical from work and doing a protracted period in ibiza. Was just wondering if anyone has done this and/or has advice. Things I've been thinking about are:

• Should I just book out going flight
• For accommodation should I get hotel for first few weeks or look at other types of accommodation
• I probably won't do any work out there as I only speak English (well just ) and my trade is software dev, but is getting a NIE not that difficult if I do?
• I'll need to get £ to € but on island I only so reasonable rates for £ cash. Any other ways like direct transfer? Don't want to take loads of euros with me as it's not a good idea security wise!

At moment it's just an idea but would like to try a month at least if not 3! Well do it while I still can.

Really want to do the same thing, especially as I'm looking into getting a property out there. Lots of thoughts......

I'd recommend trying to find a job out there. It obviously helps to keep you on track but can also help getting you into clubs for free. I had passes for everywhere except dc10 & pacha.

Whats the craic like with construction work over there? Plenty of un finished work by the bay in san an.
