Newbie to Ibiza and the forum :-), couple of questions

Hi there, new to the forum, first post so apologies if its in the wrong section etc. Me and 5 of my mates going to Ibiza 14th June for 4 nights, cant wait. Im 27 now and in the past been to all your usual european 18-30 places, malia, laganas, magaluf, sunny beach, las americas etc, but this is my first trip to Ibiza :-). Ive heard some horror stories about people being charged 60 euro plus to get in a club every night and then 20-25 euro a beer and like 10 euro a bottle of water :-0 is all this true? Im looking to take around 800 euro, 200 a day, which is pretty much just going to go on club entry and beer, will this be enough? Obviously only having 4 nights there i wanna make the most of it so will be planning on visiting a big club every night? Also im gunna get the tickets for the Cream opening party on the 14th June a week or 2 before we go, do you think they may sell out by then or will there be plenty available at the end of May still? Thanks for any help :-)
 
first off, welcome to the forums.

you'll be fine with that amount of money. it is true that the tickets for the most expensive parties reach 60-80€, but the vast majority of tickets cost 30-50€. in the clubs, mixers cost somewhere between 12-15€, beer 10-12€ and water 8-10€. drink prices in bars are considerably cheaper.

you will find tickets on the island as well of course. buying them beforehand just makes it a lot easier.
 
Thanks mate, 10-12 euro for a beer is'nt that bad, you would pay nealy that in a big club in England to be fair, thats cheered me up a bit lol. We are staying at the hotel florida, any views on that? Ive heard of a free bus to take you to some clubs, amnesia etc, any ideas where you get that from in relation to our hotel?
 
Looks like a few mins walk, to save you getting confused now just ask when you are there. Go to the egg roundabout(you will know where this is) and head along the road/walkway on the beach and the pick up is down there. Just ask around or look for a huge queue. Last time I got the disco bus they had changed the place it picked you up from and no one knew it was a scramble no body knew if they were getting on the right bus :lol:
 
depends which club you fancy at which resort san an or playa den bossa..but a lot give out wrist bands for early doors free.ok you gotta kill some time but save money.this site i think sells culb tickets check home page..
