Hey everyone,

I will be in Ibiza this summer the first time (26.6.08-10.7.08 ) in San Antonio.
Can anyone explain me which music is mainly played on the different partys in the clubs!?
I´m open for every hint which helps me to plan my evenings / nights.
Which clubs, partys, pre-club bars should I visit if I like to here especially house, funky-house?
One of my friends who stays with me in Ibiza likes Trance, is ther a club where both is played?

Hello the parties at clubs in Ibiza play all types of electronic music including house and trance. You and your friend should check out Cream @ Amnesia on thursday nights for a bit of both but there are many more all over the island. You should keep checking the party calendar for this season on this website as it fills up- it will surely help you on your way.
 
The choices will be endless, so many different things on different nights. As mentioned Cream @ Amnesia, also check out We Love...Space Sundays, opens at 8am til 6am monday morning, can go in and out to the beach, chill out then go in for the djs later in the night

Your going for long enough to experience all the clubs, pre bars, sunset strip etc, once youve been there a few days you will probably get the feel for the places that you will enjoy more than others

you mean I can go out as often as I want and can buy my drinks somewhere else ??

And I have another question. Are the times in the party calendar the official opening times??

No , with We Love Space on Sunday it will now open at 12 midday(tbc) and with your ticket you get 1 passout so you can leave and come back once .
Is Technojunky significant? In that are you looking for parties playing techno as well? If so then Cocoon , Meganite , Monza , CircoLoco and Carl Cox are perfect
 
No I´ve listened to Techno some years ago but it´s the username I always chose and then it´s easier for me to keep it in mind ;)

Are the times in the party calendar the official opening times??
 
I dont think so as it still says Space from 08.00 when a law has been passed preventing any club opening before 12noon so I would assume they have been taken from last year and mite not reflect this year.
