Hi All,

Was thinking about spending a few days in Ibiza during new year time!

Didn't see any special party going on during that time except Pacha for new year eve and DC10 for new year day like every year.

Is amnesia doing a party like last year or other like space….doing something special???

neither space nor amnesia will open for NYE this year.

these clubs will be open (subject to changes/confirmation)

and then dc10 on NYD
 
It's very tempting to do a New Years in ibiza will have to check out the costs I think . Is it Christmas jumper weather or are we getting away with a long sleeve shirt ?
 
if it's sunny it's nicely warm during the day (15-18 degrees C, sometimes we have lunch wearing t-shirts), but at night you'll need a jumper and a jacket. the humidity in the winter nights makes you feel really cold even though the real temperature isn't that low. layers is your keyword :)

just to confirm and make sure everyone sees this: neither AMNESIA nor SPACE will open on NYE or NYD this year. both clubs have confirmed this to us.

more news as we have them :)

underground have announced their last party for 22nd nov, then back in april, so they probably won't open neither on NYE.

obviously not, else they'd definitely be opening again this NYE.

to be a bit more precise - it was by no means a fiasco. they had around 4000 people and the party was great, IMO actually the best music on I've ever attended. the terrace was perfectly busy at all times (the main room not so much).

but the effort to open such a huge venue like amnesia for just one night off-season is huge. they have to organise literally everything for just one party, from staff to drinks, simply every little detail. and I think to simply break even then isn't enough.

I spoke to Space's manager a few weeks ago and they had been contemplating to open on NYE, but have decided against it for exactly the reason mentioned above.
