New to the forum.....

Welcome toombsy lad. Hope you are not a "hit and run" mix poster and can contribute to the forum in other areas?:)

Will give your stuff a listen.

Safe.
why thank you, either I know you somehow? or by chance you've managed to get my nickname spot on.

Don't worry either, I'm no 'hit and run' mix poster, will be getting involved in all sorts of chat.

Like I said though, please be brutally honest with comments, either on here or on the individual mixes.

Nice one

Hi, welcome :)
Firstly I am no expert but your mixing sounds good, the Ibiza 2012 didn't inspire me to begin with but the tracks certainly got better the more in to the mix(for me personally not knocking your effort mate). 8)
And secondly, what is your set up? I ask everyone who posts their mixes up :lol:

Hi, thank you very much! Good to be here

Been meaning to join for ages.

Expert or not, thank you for taking the time to have a listen and of course feedback :)

I know you're not knocking it but I was looking to get honest opinions and you certainly have, the idea of the mix was to be a builder and try and take you on a journey (not trying to sound too cheesy)

my set up is 2 x CDJ400, 1 x DJM350

Thanks again, much appreciated

I love music that takes me on a journey keep it up 8)
Im learning on vinyl at the minute with a duff mixer to get the basics how's the 350 for a beginner in your opinion? I've got basic eq and want to upgrade but so many to choose from.... Want to buy a cdj soon to and put it along side my decks. Might even record a mix then :D

I don miss the vinyl I have to say.. The 350 is great and so easy to use, you'd do well to get one!

Looking forward to hearing your first recorded mix :)

Hi mate ... going to be honest - I've listened to the mix and to me it's something which would fit in to a Resort bar and be perfectly 'OK'. But not something which grabs me especially - except fot the Nneka ending, which for me would be a great start ...

especially seeing as your Creamfields 2012 mix, which started auto-playing after I nipped out briefly to answer the phone, is something else - got it on now - and it's cracking.

When Dosem's 'How do you do it' came in (and more importantly you managed to mix it out (:!:), my attention was well and truly grabbed 8)...

Hi Mate, wicked, thank you for being honest - The Ibiza mix was designed to be for that kind of atmosphere, also to show versatility in genre and scenario, totally agree with the nneka tune too.

Awesome that you're enjoying the Creamfields mix, entered the comp with that set so hopefully they feel the same way as you about it :)

Hope you keep enjoying and thanks again for the feedback.. you DJ yourself?
