Ah, the New Star, had some crazy morning's there my first two years in Ibiza - 1998 & 1999, especially 98, met some absolute lunatics there! It was shut altoghether for a few few years I think, though last year I heard it was open as somewhere to go and meet a nice lady!

yeah was a bit of a hole like the milk bar. it was still kinda open in 2001 but it was one of those places where you couldn't quite understand how it stayed in business (cos noone went there anymore) bit like exstasis!:lol:

A brothel looks just like an ordinary strip bar, althou im sure if it says CLUB in evissa this means it is a brothel ?? Arent these illegal ?? seems like the policia just turn a blind eye.

Sorry is there is info on this place elsewhere but does anyone have any idea what's happened to the old New Star bar??

Is it still there, still a bar, brothel, something all together different???

We had some funny old mornings in that place back in 1998, 99 and 2000. A few colourful, but odd people used to been seen rolling around the floor in the early hours.

Heading back to Ibiza in June for openings with the original crowd that I used to head over with from 1996 - 2001 and we just want to check out a few old places that gave us some funny and great memories.

It's been a brothel the last few years as far as I know, it's deffo not what it was circa 98-2000 anyway! I think you'll be doing well to find any old haunts from back then, especially with there being no after hours any more, as that's when most of the craziness used to happen!

Yeah I thought that would be the case.

I went back last year for the first time in 6 years but it was a big crowd of us, with the wifes/girlfriends etc who had never been before and I could see how things had changed. We also guessed that if the New Star was still open in one way or another it probably would not be the smoothest move to take the other halfs there.

Still had a wicked time but just in a different way.

Part of us just wants to dig out some of these haunts to relive our miss-spent youth.
