Red Light & A Feeling - Thursday night Deep & Soulful sessions
Starting this Thursday (and then every week), PLAY Music will be kicking off some new weekly deep soulful Thursday night sessions up at Franks Bar on Upper Briggate. It's a FREE gig, aimed at representing the sound of the deep, soulful underground. This music has been flying outta the shop, but is not getting aired at many clubs....YET (although more and more house heads are getting back on this vibe!). So swing on by if you're in town to catch some of the best heads around the area who represent alongside resident Big Rich Hanson.
(Following this we've got a new monthly Saturday kicking off on 25th February (book it in) up at the Faversham Conservatory called 'Family Affair'. This will be based on the ethos of all the Vibe & Mushroom Jazz parties that we've thrown. Quality underground soulful music, friendly people (without the hype & bull ****) and some good fun. Some good guests and parties lined up throughout the year....stay posted!)
