New Mint warehouse in Leeds 2012

The team behind the award-winning Mint Club in Leeds famous for its state of the art Funktion-One soundsystem, contemporary over-head lighting and marathon sets from the world''s biggest djs, are set to open a new 1000-capacity event space in January 2012. The Mint Warehouse located just a few minutes from Leeds train station will house three rooms, including an outdoor terrace, all fully kitted-out with suspended Funktion-One rigs and advanced lighting and visual systems. The large outdoor terrace will be purpose built for daytime parties and will play host to a range of huge headline djs during the summer months.

Lineups will be released soon and include some of the biggest artists and label showcases from a range of genres, as well as a few surprises thrown in for good measure.

Leeds has always been about smaller clubs for me and whenever larger events / clubs have come along they havent lasted all that long. Hopefully this will break the trend though.

Agreed, Leeds has been buzzing for a few years, hopefully this will take off.
