New beach-type pool at hotel pacific???

can any one help !! im staying at the hotel pacific in july and ive read that its been recently refurbished with a beach-type pool! whats the difference between a beach -type pool and a swimming pool?? sorry if its a stupid question lol
 
Id say a beach type pool will sloap down from a flat type beach area to the deap end (good for kids) swimming pools tend to be deep enough to swim all over.

Stayed there a couple of years ago, might have to have a peak over the wall at this revolutionary type of pool this year as im intriged 8)
 
Im staying there too (see dates in signature) in July, so I dunno what they mean either but the place is going to be completely refurbished! nice one!
 
I'm also staying there in July - but am going 2nd til the 9th!! Fingers crossed it's nice!!! :D
