if it´s on spotlight, there´s nothing you have to worry about. we only list villas that are legal - meaning they do have a touristic license and can thus be rented out completely legal. a lot of villas won´t be affected by this anyway, the main goal is to prevent that tourists rent apartments in apartment blocks that don´t have a touristic license and equals thus an illegal rental. the island urgently needs affordable housing for the locals and this is a step in the right direction, even though it will take time until we actually feel the effects of it.
