never been to Ibiza

Hi!
I have never been to Ibiza. I am from South Africa and hope to get this july. So can anyone help me with places to stay airfares etc. Where in Europe is best to fly from London or Amsterdam as I will be in both. Also I really want to see Sven Vath at Cocoon club so where is that on the island?

coccoon @ amnesia on monday nights, you would probably like meganite @ privelege on wednesdays as well

if you will be going to spend time at amnesia, space and el divino then stay in PDB or Ibiza town area. If you like sunsets and chillin' and do not like the 'big' clubs then you may like to consider san antonio

yeah its mauro picotto's night,its quality! he has chris liebing as resident aswell,i'll be there alot this summer i hope
 
thanks for the info. Techno is my thing especially sven vath and mauro picotto. I plan to arrive around the 4th July and stay till the 14th. Does anyone know how you can book packages including accomodation from the Uk?
 
loads of tour operators do holidays to ibiza from the uk, you may be best looking at their sites and then giving them an email with you not being a uk resident. i also dont know how easy it is to get 10 day breaks.

you could also however, book flights and a room seperatley, using the hotel guide on this site and an airline such as www.easyjet.co.uk which fly from london
 
I'd go with the easyjet option as they are really cheap! also if you look at some of the hotels featured on this site you will come across some good prices
 
seems to be that way now for the first part of the summer...at the start of the year the prices were a bargain i got my flight to ibiza for 47.99 but its now 207.99...you need to book well in advance if you want cheap fares these days
 
Don't forget Carl Cox's night at Space. That's by far the best techno to be found on the island - words can't describe just how good that is - though Picotto's Meganite last year came pretty close!! Cocoon was ok, a bit to stop/start for me - I'll give it another go this year tho!

Hopefully there'll be the Meganite Pre-Parties at Itaca again, with Picotto and Leibing playing in a very small venue! (eg about 20 people when I went!)
