All of these are in the West End and are probably what you are looking for:

Red Cube
Sugar Reef
10 Room
Abigail's Party
Attica
Long Bar @ The Sanderson

ok
which one is best? lol*
im clueless here!

going to dine at katana@international

They're all very much of a much-ness imo, they're not the places I'd go to out of choice but I've been taken to them by suppliers and they're all pretty swish inside and do nice cocktails etc.

Do a google search for them and then you'll see if it's what you've got in mind, I think you'd pretty much like any of them IG ;)

hmm did a goodle search, not really what i had in mind - well sugar reef maybe but they are a bit average arent they? where do YOU go?

They're where all the footballers and C-list celebs go so I'd hardly call them average. I don't really go drinking in West End much, I prefer more low key places.

Have they finished the renovations yet? Is it looking like somewhere Lee Chapman would have a VIP area???

:D :D :D - I do like a bit of spit and sawdust myself over chrome and suede..... so with you on that one - last "trendy" bar I was in in London was Jewel in Covent Garden - niiiiice oh and some bizarre wine bar where I sat next to the utterly utterly gorgeous David Mellor - who kept looking down my top.....) :D :D

I am surprised you havent ripped down the boarding and had your own after hours party by now..... - couple of bags of philosopher's stones, sound system and a carry out from the local 24hr Waitrose...... missy - you're getting too sensible!!!

I think it must be our northern roots, you can take the girl out the north but you can't take the north out the girl

I'm having a few work drinks at Ruby Lo tonight. It's just behind Selfridges.
Wouldnt recomend you went there though, heard it's going to be RnB and Hip-Hop.. oh dear..

One time (at z-list celeb camp) it was my friends GF's b'day and her sis (who ran a cocktail bar/Coke dealing den in docklands somewhere) was taking us and other mates out in London to celebrate....execpt we had to meet her first which went like this...

So...we were driving to Stanmore to get tube and leave cars there overnight, mates GF+4 others in car ahead of me and me+others in my car. She leaves N'pton and drives straight on the wrong side of the M1  Ring her up and say "Since when has London been North of Northampton?" So she says she'll turn round at next junction....except she misses that and we go up two junctions before eventually heading South. Then she turns off at Milton Keynes to meet some other people who were gonna folow (didnt know about this) but she gets lost in MK before finding them. Eventually get to Stanmore Tube at 4pm after driving for 3 hours when should have taken 45 min

Get to London Bridge and turns out we have to wait for another mates GF (he'd told her to meet us there but she didnt leave home until he'd rang to say we were there  ) So at 6:30pm we finally get on tube again to go to mates GF's sis's house. Where all the girls take an hour and a half to get ready

Then when we go out it turns out we're going to Red Cube.....which was full of Z-listers and tossers......then it turns out we're going to Sugar Reef which was full of half the cast of the big soaps and a load of Prem/England footballers  GREAT atmosphere

So the morals of the story are

Women are shit.
Those bars/clubs are shit.

 :P

Imagine if you'd gone to one of those places in the 80s. Could seen this 'screen legend' with 'dollybirds' draped all over him:

I know you are mulling it over as I post........

back again after lovely week.
we ended having dinner at Opium, in Soho on Dean Str. Was nice food, nice setting but somewhat a bit....how to say it.....old looking interiour, worn out sifas ect. But great club. Headed for the area near Brewer str. for drinks, near carnaby and after that we ended up in a new China White owned club, umbasa with the most pretentious crown ever! a group of Jordan-look-a-likes and "we think we are so ubercool" guys in the bar, what a waste of time. But next time ill try Blue Bar, Dusk in Chelsea and some places in Kengsington, looks like more of my crowd

BOY did I shop! went nutts in Topshop and River Island, loving the stuff they have their, got an amazing pair of wedges at Selfridges, lots of Prescriptives and Shu Uemura makeup at Harvey Nicks and nice leather bag at Dune on South Molton Str.

Was a nice trip!!!
