Need ipod help...

I have a feeling chewie will know the answer to this... (no pressure!)

I took some of my mates music over the company network to put onto my ipod - trouble is they are mixes and he didn't do the 'join tracks' bit when he was importing them. When I take them down they have that annoying pause and there doesn't seem to be a way to join them other than get him to re-import them - not likely to happen.

Any ideas on what to do??

If you have a program like SoundForge (sound editing program) then you could use it to join them all up into one big mp3 file.

I think they've promised a no-gap option in future firmware updates but I don't think it's shown up yet.

how about burning the tracks to cd then re-importing the cd into i-tunes using the join function?

cant join them in itunes.

u need to do it with a 3rd party sound editing software OR burn those tracks as an audio CD and then reimport them in itunes with the join tracks thingie.

Scoobie/chewie, good thinking...... it's a bit of a pain having to do that with a large amount of music but it's definately worth a go - cheers!!
