Hi all,

I have a bit of a problem. I've been checking this forum regularly for some years now so I know you're all very good in giving advice. :lol: So here it goes;

This September I was supposed to go to Ibiza with my long-term husband for the 6th time. I had already booked our trip: from Sept. 21 till Sept 27.

Just a week ago, totally out of the blue for me, my husbands announces that he doesn't know if he really loves me anymore. Don't want to be very dramitic about it, but the bottem line is; he doesn't want to go to Ibiza with me.

Now I'm thinking about going by myself. This means that I will be "alone" on wednesday, thursday and friday untill the afternoon, when my friends will arrive in Ibiza.

What do y'all think. Is this a good idea, or will I feel totally lost all by myself. (I'm a very open person and I always meets loads of people, but there was always my husbands as my back-up, which made things much easier).

I'm counting on some good advice from you peeps.

thanks.

hi belle!

GO!!!! i've been alone on the island for one week this july (after my girlfriend left after my first week and before my mate arrived for my third week) and it's really no problem to be there alone for some days! plus, if you're as open as you write, you will soon meet cool people!!!

most probably i'll be also there (alone again!) for a week in september.

Ooooh Belle, I am sorry to hear that. What a poop he is :?

You go girl, you'll do fine. If there is any place in the world to help you forget about probs and ease your pain, it is the gorgeous White Isle. :P So many amazing and friendly lovelies you will meet.

I know you are hurting now, but I think this little holiday will be a great escape for you. How liberating to go off on your own for a bit and meet new peeps to explore and dance with!! Maybe try to look at flying solo in the positive light that lots of us see it (this topic has been discussed a few times lately, as a few of our friends have had their travelling partners cancel on them for various reasons). You can do/go/see what ever you want when you want for a few days without any external influences... it can be empowering and exhilarating.

That is my view anyways :D PLUS how fun will it be when your friends finally do arrive and you can introduce them to all the cronies you hung out with/tell them about all the fab sights and sounds you experienced while they were away!! I say go for it, and best of luck to you with everything.

ps. check out the Meeting Point section for people who will be on the island the same time you are... that could be a great start! -xo PG

GO! and have the good time you so rightly deserve.

Like PachaGirl says, check out the Meeting Point section because there's always other people going alone. Spend your afternoons at Bora Bora because there's always fun people hanging around. Head to Amnesia for La Troya on Wednesday night... best party atmosphere of any night and friendly folks.

GO

Have a wonderful time. Sorry to hear bout your troubles though. No better place than Ibiza to take your mind off them. Have a wonderful time. If it came to it, I'd go on my own for 2 weeks!! Every single night out in Ibiza I make about at least 5-10 new friends :D:D:D:D

If you dont go he has won

Get ur arse shaking and get ur party head on.......ull feel much better for it....there are peeps over there same time as you......unfortunately ill just have left the island hun,...or i would have been happy to hang with ya..... :P :D

Go n meet some gorgeous bloke who will shower u wioth attention.... rub his nose in it bit

Thanks everyone.

You've actually put a smile on my face.... :)

I think I AM going to go by myself and have the best time of my life!!!
