Need a consultation as a first time visitor to Ibiza!

hi everybody!!
Now I live in Germany (well already 6 months of studyind), but originally I am from Russia. This summer I really want to spent the best week in my Live - in Ibiza. But the problem I've never been there before 8O. I am Going to come in the middle of June - is it already time, will I catch crazy time in all clubs, or all of them are still closed at thet time?
And may be somebody of you know the cheapest way to come from Germany? For now I am thinking to take Easyjet to majorca and then ferry to Ibiza.
And of course it would be great to meet you guys there, to spent some crazy nights and to drink some Russian vodka :lol: !!

Hi,

I'm a first time Ibiza visitor and I'm heading there either on the 18th or 25th of June. I'm heading there alone so I'm a little freaked out about that but I've heard everyone there is friendly and up for a good time!

I can't decide on the dates yet because I don't know if Space is open on the 19th of June. I know the opening parties are a couple of weeks before that but the Party Calendar is blank for the 19th. Space is my number 1 destination and the main reason I'm going so I need to find out asap.

Can anyone help me?

The calender is blank at he moment because we haven't had any djs or events confirmed as of yet. They won't start confirming untill april time.

However based on previous years the welove opening at space has been around the mid of june, and looks like to fall this year on the 19th june. But its not 100% confirmed it will be on that date yet

Thanks for the update Robo. I'll keep checking the calendar in the hope they will announce something real soon. I'm a bit worried about leaving my flights and accomodation until later on so I might have to take a risk and book something soon.

Klubbhead, looks like we'll definitely have to catch up and party together!! You're going around mid June right? How long will you be there for? Once I figure out my dates, I will let you know for sure. I'll be doing a couple of tours around Italy, France, Greece and Spain first and then head to Ibiza either on the 18th or 25th of June.

I did some research on the main site and I'm thinking I'll stay around Figueretas because it's halfway between Ibiza Town and Playa den Bossa, and the beach there looks amazing. Where are you staying?

About place to stay - have not chosen yet, but there 2 criterias: price and how close it to SPACE!! :lol: :lol:

hi there!

i went to ibiza for the 1st time all by my lil' self last summer and yes, i thought i died and danced my way to heaven ;)
i found going alone was great as i met TONS of super people every where :)
i stayed in a hostel in ibiza town - Hostel marina - i got a single room and i loved it - it was a cute, tiny room that they cleaned up every day, more like a hotel to me. the only thing i didnt like about where i stayed is that a) ibiza town has no beach - you have to take a bus to get to the nearest beach, and b) if you're looking for any night time peace and quiet to sleep a bit, you wont find it at the Hostel Marina. It was very loud from 4pm til about 4 am.
I got around everywhere by bus which i found to be completely fine, but i also didnt do much off the beaten path.

i literally used this website for every single thing i did - beaches, parties, everything - spend a while on this site and you'll be fine :)
 
No worries Klubbhead, I still haven't fnalised my plans either but I'll hopefully know very soon. I'm getting some crap from the boss about taking too much time off but I'm working on it.

krystleNYC, thanks heaps for your message. It's great to know that people have gone to the island alone and survived!!! I'm inspired!! I'll be going there alone but I'm sure I'll meet great people like you did, people like Klubbhead!

As a first time visitor to Ibiza I have 2 more stupid questions :D :
1. How expensive is public transport in Ibiza (including Disco Bus)?
2. I am gonna live close to Playa d'en Bossa, till what time I can catch sun on the beach there? :?: :oops: :D

I'm booked in!!!! Get there on the 25th of June and leave on the 29th!!! Oh yeah!!!!

My brother has decided to tag along to the island with me so we will be ready to party!!!

public transport is quite cheap over there, around 1-2 euros if I remeber correctly. I think I recalled that one could buy a buss-pass, thinking of doing that since I will be travelling by buss a lot.

Bossa is at the beach, why take a bus? But there are busses going from Bossa to town most of the time, and at night they leave once an hour or so. If you want to go to other beaches, such as at San antonio or the one close to the airport, then check the timetables at ibizabuss.com ( think)

Have a great time! I am gong a week after you leave... solo as well... anyone out there? :)

I did it! I've booked flight: 21st June - I am there and 28th June going back!!! Yeaaaah! But I am still looking for the place to stay.
Stiven, we defently have to meet there! I'll bring some real russian vodka :lol: , we will finish the bottle together :D !!!
 
Sounds good Klubbhaed!! I love Vodka!!! Leave the beer to me, that's my specialty!

Only 3 weeks until I leave for my holiday so I'm excited! We'll have to figure out where to meet. I definitely know I'll be at Space on Sunday the 26th.

So, now I am booked completely. 21-28 June Hostel Costa, Figueretas (not the best place to stay, but my budget doesn't allow me smth else :-) ). And defenately will be at Space on Sunday, at COCOON in Amnesia on monday!

I leave for the start of my holiday this Saturday and get to Ibiza on the 25th of June so I think I'm going to be a mess by the time I get there! hehehe
