Does anybody else have an addiction to this stuff

Seriously if i dont use it i cant breath my nose becomes blocked and uncomfortable. been using itfor 10 years or so and just relaised i think im addicted to it. I have a bottle in my car at work and at home and panic if i dont have one SERIOUS !! anyone else have this or am i just alone ??

You should prob see a doc because your just masking a problem instead of getting it sorted, nobody should be blocked constantly, maybe you need to have an op to open up your airways or something?

Part of the problem is probably the constant use.

Even in regular dosages, your nasal membranes tend to have a "backlash" i.e. once the effects of the medicine have worn off you get stuffier than before you used it. (at least, that's my experience and I've heard that elsewhere as well).

I had surger last year to correct a deviated septum (bend in the bone that runs down your nose)

...and I also had narrowed turbinates (the passages at the top on either side, couldn't find a diagram for this so see below)

Usually it's polips or the soft tissue that blocks the turbinates and it can be cut away quite easily. Sadly mine was bone so it had to be ground out.

You can if it contains Epinepherine - which is what coke/crack users use for a "tweak"
