sounds like fresca's getting the proper care and attention and lovely lovely elizabeth has made herself a nice cup of tea and taken time off work to tend to the pidgeons.

More worrying however:

Skinned babies

2 baby rollers were found skinned. 1 lived, 1 dead, Both had thier backs skinned. The dead one also had his head, leg scapled, with a hole in his side. The live one has scabbed over. Not sure what happened. Could be new parents? Someone trying to take thier nest. Maybe a crazy bird. I am in the loft about 3 xs a day. I put the live baby with some foster parents. So it will have a better chance of making to adulthood. Anybody seen this or have any ideas?


The pidgeon world sounds like a cruel, harsh place.

I think it's about time we set up a pidgeon campaign and raised pidgeon skinning awareness.

Excellent plan Morbyd. This is going to be a national campaign and we need someone sensible and grown up to front it, someone who loves the pigeons as much as us Barbie is quite clearly the perfect candidate. Her phobia of pigeons is just a passing phase.
