A mate of mine whose mobile isn't on Orange has just asked me to get a 'Orange Wednesdays' 2-4-1 text from them (as I have an Orange phone) and forward it to him. He then asks if he can use a parking space at my office tonight because he then wants to take his date to Speedy Noodle (bargain bucket Chinese/Curry job) around the corner.

So... he's taking her to the cinema half price and then to the cheapest available meal, with free parking arranged upfront.

If that 'seals the deal', as it were, I will die laughing! :lol:
 
He wants your text, he wants your car park space.....

its not about posh restuarants and paying loads its about having fun and chatting :D

I took the better half to Macdonalds once on our anniversary and she loved it..... Thing was we'd left Turmills 4 hours earlier and were in no mood for 'proper food' Egg muffins & hash browns only 8O

Pure class... :lol:

Fair enough, it's all relative in terms of what you can afford or what you normally do anyway.

But most women i know expect the guy to make an extra effort to impress.......... at least early on... ;)

True - while I'm taking the mickey, he'd be silly to pay full price at the cinema when he can pay half, he really likes the food at 'Speedy' and goes there a lot any way, plus he's just taken on a big mortgage that swallows most of his income each month.

Still funny to rib him though!
