I am meant to be starting my new Spanish class tonight and at the moment the only thing I can focus on is survival![]()
I'm having trouble speaking English let alone Spanish

Would it be really naughty to miss the first one![]()
Phone them, tell them you are ill and ask if they are going to give any important information or material and you'll look like a very interested student![]()
Now I just need to be able to speak to the 'outside world'![]()
That's perfect, you'll sound like a little poorly girly![]()

I've found an e-mail address so I've e-mailed them, I'm too scared to speak to 'normal' peopleI haven't left the house or talked to anyone 'normal' since we got back

Aren't you working?
No way![]()

And you complain about my holidays![]()

I know that feeling!
It's not laziness either - it's almost as if you'd fall over and turn into a gibbering, twitching wreck if you so much as tried communicating on any level...and that's in your native language let alone Spanish.
Definately don't go. They'd throw you out for good.
Can you send me a link or something to where you are doing this class? I dont want to go back to the last place and should really look into doing further classes.
I was asked to look through CVs of graduates today to see who we wanted to hire on our desk from the graduate training programme. Every single one of them was fluent in three or four languages. Really made me feel useless.
