My Space (again)

So I now have 34 friends :lol: But I would say that 90% of them are real world friends so if I want to talk to them I'd call them or text them or even heaven forbid do it the old fashioned way and meet them in the pub.........why would I use My Space to speak to them when I already have more than adequate ways to communicate with them :?

Or am I missing the point of My Space :?
 
I guess its just a way of being in touch with friends that you might not necessarily see all the time, thats my views on it anyway lol you know like some friends you may not always have the time to see but drop an email every week.

But then why wouldn't you text or call them or e-mail them :?
 
Yes you're missing the point - only geeky tw@ts use social networking sites. (:oops: :oops: :oops: spotlight :oops: :oops: :oops:) - MySpace is for finding about about club listings, obscure nights, guerrilla gigs, blagging guest lists and finding out about decent music.

how do i use this mywebebayspace to blag a guest list? just by sleazing away on the promotors comments bit?!
 
All my mates are on something call Facebook. I think it is similar to Myspace.

All I ever get asked when I see them is "are you on facebook"..."why arent you not on facebook"..."youre the only one not on Facebook"...."facebook is amazing"...GO AWAY! Although I do think I will set up a profile as if you hear my mates it seems to have given them some sort of celeb A lister social life.

But I agree in that the point seems to be of chatting with people you wouldnt normally pick up the phone to, putting pictures up of your hols etc.

I think myspace is more about music/clubbing and keeping in touch with whats going on....I struggle to understand why everyone is always thanking everyone for "the adds" though

Not sure about big stuff but Shoreditch clubs tend to post bulletins advertising one offs and guest lists.

I can't be seen to be sleazing around in promotors comments sections so no! :lol:

usually a good dose of ego massaging works well

the best way is to ring up their agent/pr and just ask , or say you want to review their night for an online magazine/cool trend hunting website bla bla this always works.!!!

He is my New best friend! I never really use it tbh and I would never thank people for adding me
 
the thing about "Tom" is

What is the point of the "X is in your extended network" block at the top

everyone has Tom as their 1st friend so therefore everyone is in everyones extended network!!!

Tom - under Redundancy in the dictionary it says "see Redundancy"

I deleted 'Tom' as a friend, I didn't like the fact that he just presumed I'd want him as a friend :lol:
