My "mixing"

my speciality is to mix amazing, cutting in tracks and getting some good switching going on

as soon as a record button is pressed it all goes to pot!

mate of mine suggested pressing record once you're into the mix 15 mins or so...

Doesn't work if you've got a particular selection of tracks you wanna get through though :(

Any way... isn't it against the grain to have all your records in order before playing a set?? Should be freestyle!!! thats what i told the last promo who asked for a mix cd ;)

when i record a mix i usually mix the first two tracks without recording, then start again and hit record.....so the beats are matched and you dont need to do much on the first mix so it helps you get into it

I never ever plan a mix...I already know what tunes mix into each other well etc so I just go with the flow!

I used to always make mistakes in mixes but these days it seems to be fine :)

I'll stick to my word that ill make a mix cd for this board....I've said it before and ill stick to it ;)

eventually ill get cds and sleeves and lotsa envelopes and stamps :)

Why do I always mess it up on the last "mix"? I've got two to tamper with and fix now

i do that too...

maybe lapse in concentration perhaps?

helps if im not watching eastenders at the time.
