After coming to ibiza for years and after a poor trip this summer because of all that electro that im not really into i decided that this would be it... the last time...id hang up the dancing shoes!
Well how wrong you can be!
landed 12noon ish saturday checked in the rooms and headed to the matinee closing party, an event that i think is highly underated by uk clubbers. i did get the feelin though there may have been a few gay fellas in there !! not that that worries me as me and my mates are regulars at speed queen in Leeds!
great party, great atmposhere great music, just the way to start things off!"!
off back for a change of clothes then into ibiza town, few bars then off to pacha Defmix closing, little bit quiet to start with but soon picked up about 2. bumped into a great couple who lived in the same town as me .. you know who u are.. drew and ange! left about 4ish
anyway from there back to the rooms, for my only sleep of the trip 2 hrs,... (time wasted i know but i was feeling weak)!!
up and of got to space for 11am, pleasant chat with police where they relived a graham of some things but no fine or bother, jolly nice chaps if u just smile and keep saying hola!!! graham even asked if he could have them back but i think they wanted them more !!!
space was amazing as expected, inside, outside and everywhere.
if you were there you'll know ! me and lee were right at the front when Morales was on and we quckly crowned ourselves 'kings of space' for day. i hope none of you minded !!
bumped in drew again to find out he lives in the same building as my best mate and im moving in there shortly ..... good times to come !
ran out of cash by 6 and thought the cash machine was empty in there ! so back to the hotel for a top up and returned.. digweed was good but it got far to busy so headed back at 4ish,
checked out at 7am and headed straight to dc10 to be first in the que, only problem was they didnt open till 845 and i had to at the airport for 11 ish, oh well 2 hrs is better than none, and if you were in there you may remember the show the 3 sexy girls put on !!
well of to the airport a little blurry eyed only to get sat next to drew and his mrs.. i was starting to get in a bit of a tangle so they helped me hold it together.. thanks again..

moral of the story ... your never to old for ibiza and you never know the next person you bump into might just live down the road from you ! so next time you see someone at home in a space or amnesia t shirt. say hello.. you might see them on the white isle next time your there!!
