Well here we go guys, my first ever review, but certainly not my last. i arrived Saturday 13th August and departed Sunday 21st August. ok here goes.
Saturday 13th August,
Got off the plane, dropped our luggage at the hotel and promptly shot off to SPACE for the radio 1 10th Anniversary sessions, which were absolutely phenomenal, though pete tong and the judge were clearly outshon by erick morillo!!! left space around 4:30 for a wander down to Bora Bora, but was a little too tired for this. headed home and was asleep around 6.
Sunday 14th August
Revitalised after my sleep, we spent most of the day having a relax and a bite to eat at Bar M in San Antonio. I love nandos, thought start off on the lemon and herb!!! After a little afternoon kip, we were off to Eden for judgement sunday which is conviently right outside my hotel. Judge Jules really impressed tonight. headed home around seven, didnt sleep so just went down for that lovely spanish continental breakfast they serve in the hotels.
Monday 15th August
A beach chill out day, followed by a trip to privilege for manumission. the place was packed solid. FS, fischerspoon and andy carroll all excellent. got a taxt home around six. time for some well needed sleep.
Tuesday 16th August
After last night this really was a chillout time, and decided just to go up to the west end for the night. interesting place and we found a really good little 90's classic bar that i cant remember the name of for the life of me. stripes, streaks something like that. headed home around 4 today.
Wednesday 17th August
A short walk to Es Paradis to see DJ Sammy present The rise. Not a bad night but didnt quite meet expectations. a lot of idiots were in there ruining things for everyone else. headed home around 6.
Thursday 18th August
It had to be Cream at amnesia. By far my favorite night. one that has received mix reviews but i can honestly say is was totally amazing. tiesto played a superb set!! grudgingly made it home about half 6 for some sleep.
Friday 19th August
Headed up to Cafe Mambo for the sunset sessions with R1. A really nice chilled evening, except for the crap weather leading to no sunset
and some idiot who burnt me trying to light the pure pacha sign
Onto Pacha around 11 for Pure Pacha. Pete Tong was again excellent. crawled home around 6.
Saturday 20th August
With a really crap flight time at like 2 am on sunday we really didnt have enough time for a proper night of it tonight, and we were all running low on funds. so we headed up the west end for a chillout, followed by a grudging bus ride to the airport.
In the end we spent way to much, all feel like death, are all pale white because we were catching up our sleep everytime the sun was out, and need another holiday to relax. Guess where? has to be back to Ibiza. really was the best time of my life.
Highlight had to be seeing vanessa feltz getting jiggy with her black toy boy. we love you vanessa!!!
