My hotel has been closed

However, the Councillor for Business Development and Employment, Joan Serra, said the company would be able to appeal against the decision ensuring that the closures would not be immediate:!:
 
yeah but how long will this take, i mean i'm going 4 weeks tomorrow...if it is shut will i get a refund or will they find another hotel for us free or charge
 
I'd maybe try getting in touch which whoever you booked it through?

It might be worth searching about online for alternative accomodation, and then try to get your money back. You might even find somewhere cheaper/better (every cloud...)
 
they might move you to the algarb or tivoli apts.which the rooms are better ie s/c plus you have your meals in the algarb.same gps group
 
i was 1 second away from booking this hotel tonight, but i opted for something else at the last min.....
saved my self some drama i think.

No it does not, That is why it closed sub standard hotels, I would not worry about your replacement hotel if they are still closed, GPS own`s half of them anyway,

ps if you think GPS group are so nice, and they are being picked on by the nasty government, keep an eye on the papers, see how many of the possible 10 yr`s the director get`s for the many infringements he ( the company) is up for. Make`s interesting reading on how they treat their staff etc :-)
