Gonna try and keep it short and sweet, went to Pacha for Morillo on Wednesday 13th sept, loved it, managed a dry night dont know how. Danced the entire night without a single drink and it was great remebering the next morning what tunes had been dropped. Dont like the drink situation in Pacha, without a doubt its the sneakiest on the island. They give you your GLAS BOTTLE with NO LID so you get bored holding the thing then your gonna say **** it and set it down arent ya. Then you have to go buy more and more. Thought that was a bit hectic to be honest.
Went to Manumission on Friday 15th my mates 25th and we had the most amazing night ever, loved every second of it, im not much into my cheesy tunes but they could drop anything in that place and the atmosphere would make it amazing, shame about the toilets feel sorry for the toilet dj cos the toilets absolutly stank and you had to pay some woman for a bitta toilet roll
saturday El Divino looked amazing from outside, gorgeous club but way too small and too packed out with people, but i love hed kandi and if you get a nice spot then its a place you could dance all night long.
Sunday we love space, was a bit gutted not to get to the afternoon session, nothing on the entire island beats dancing on the terrace in the sunshine, with the aeroplanes flying overhead but unfortnatly i only saw th night time sets but they were well worth it.
I have to also give a mention to Joe Spoons, great wee bar to kick off your night in and get warmed up and pretty steaming, plays the cheesey tunes but it gets the blood pumping. I must admit thoguh the only downside is that it can get a bit rough at times when they feel the need to throw in few rough, (lets just side one side of the Northern Ireland community) songs, replublican chants that offend people of a certain background but they only did that once and when they did i left the bar.
Also brilliant wee bar was the Highlander, we went upstairs in it on our first night and the tunes in there were brilliant, it was like a mini Hed Kandi session and we had a brilliant time up there, anything goes and the staff were so friendly.
I dont think i have a bad word to say about anywere really, i think every wee bar has potential, Tropicana too was a nice wee set up.
