My 7th trip, my Girlfriend's 1st...Where to bring her?

I haven't been to the island since 2008 so a lot has changed. I am coming over in August and thought We Love Sundays @ Space would be the ideal 'big night' to bring her to but it's not on any more.

Can anyone recommend what the best big night(s) are to go to? I'd like to go to DC10 for Circoloco but I think she'd prefer to see Pacha or Space or even Amnesia as a spectacle as she's not as into clubbing as I am :)

Insane Friday's at Pacha, should tick both boxes. Ants at Ushuaia or La Familia if it is on, again should keep you happy but also give the Mrs something to keep her amused. Maybe see if there is anything on at Destino as well. What dates are you going?

I always say it, but Pikes for the Sunday Roast. Just a cool atmosphere and something a bit different.
 
What kind of music does she like, that will make a fair impact on her enjoyment especially if she's not as into clubbing as you are. DC10 on Monday get's full on rammed, could pose a problem for a gf who isn't bang up for the whole clubbing thing.

its actually my birds 1st time as well and ive been loads of times but thankfully she's into the same music as me (old skool) so just leaving it up to me so clockwork orange is the first port of call
 
deffo agree with Dirk - recommend Insane @ Pacha on Friday.... by far one of my favourite nights! And no trip to Ibiza is complete without a visit to Space so I'd suggest Vagabundos on the Sunday. Depending on how long you are there for We Love has moved to Sankeys (on a Wednesday) so you could try there too (haven't been to this myself). And there's an abundance of nights at Amnesia to choose from, depends if you want to be out night after night or are going to be spacing the big nights out.

Dirk, what's the best time to hit Pikes on a Sunday, but still leaving time to visit Rumors?

I think I will bring her to Pacha as it isn't generally too heavy and it is a spectacle of a club. There's a Holi Festival on too so that would be new for both of us. Then after that I'll just see where the wind takes us I guess. I would really like to go to Circoloco but maybe not an all nighter. Also Amnesia for Cream but I always remember that just being too wedged. Thanks again.
 
Im in the same boat. My 3rd time girlfriends first. Ive tested the water the past year and half with local house/techno raves in the UK. She gets the jist of it. Shes swung towards the tech scene...which is a bonus as i love it!

September we're going for a week

Friday - music on

Saturday - zoo (so she can get dressed up)

Monday - dc10

Tuesday - carl cox

Wednesday - hyte

Thursday - home

Either way, first time in 2011 and 2nd in 2012 i went was with 2 ibiza virgins and i chose the nights and did the ones they wanted to do.

Its all about give and take. But, i'm confident as shes with you in ibiza, she will love it anyway.
 
If she's not really into clubbing, and you think she'd like to see Pacha, my biggest recommendation would be Flower Power.

Despite going to Ibiza at least once every year for the last 7, with my boyfriend who's been going for the last 50 years or so, I'm not (shock horror!) the biggest dance music fan. Don't get me wrong, I've had some of the best nights of my life clubbing both at home and on Ibiza, but let's just say the other half breaking out the decks on your average Tuesday evening isn't my idea of bliss...

Anyway, I spent years hassling him to go to Flower Power and he would never agree. Last year he finally relented and I would say it was definitely one of the best nights we've ever had on the island. In fact surprisingly enough HE'S the one that's more gutted that the closing party will have already happened by the time we arrive this year. It was nice to have both of our favourite music types mashed together in one big love in (complete with Harley Davidsons on the dancefloor and 3am Jim Morrison impersonators because, y'know, Ibiza).

The other good thing about it is whilst it's still one of their bigger nights it's a good bit cheaper than some of the others which might make it a little bit easier to swallow if it's really just a "going to see the club" type of night. If you're really looking to impress/save some cash you could always eat in the restaurant beforehand.

TL;DR - take her to Flower Power and whilst it might be different type of "Ibiza" I doubt either of you will be disappointed.
