Music Production Course - Help!

I'm looking for a bit of advice about house music production courses in London for a complete beginner - they would have to be part time.

Any pointers as to what to look out for in a course/college in terms of teaching and equipment, or even recommendations?

I really haven't a clue as to where to start looking and so feel free to speak to me like a 5yr old!

Cheers

Point Blank do all that stuff now I believe. I'll try and dig out the web address - or google it Ben

Cheers Buckley - I have been checking out their site but realised that I just don't know enough about the whole area to differentiate between good and bad

Perhaps I should just stick to that new mixing game on PS2

focus training in croydon do a pretty good course, dont know the web addy but there advertised in the back of dj mag,ask for tristian ;)

Point Blank go from the top and work you through it or so Im told.

Its a long road and takes a few years to engineer good music but if you got great ideas then I would say check out Sony Acid Pro. That will get you cracking straight away.

You can beatmap any sounds from current tunes and make up ure own loops etc.

I only started making tunes around march last year and have had a good level of success all things considered. 8) ;)

But I got ages to go yet and once your involved its an ace pastime ;)
