Murray vs Nadal

 ...as only Henman could.

Murray does appear to be doing well. BTW, try the Aussie Open scoreboard (http://www.australianopen.com/en_AU/index.html - click the Live Scores link). I keep the little window open all day.

You don't get the commentary like on the BBC but the scores update more regularly. You can also listen to the match on Aussie Open radio.

It was a valiant effort, but it looks like Murray is getting his lunch fed to him in the 5th set...

He could do with cutting out the tantrums i think .

Murray has put up a good fight as well if only he had took a couple more break points instead of 3 out of 19

Tennis thesedays just doesn't hold the same interest as it did years ago when the likes of Bjorn Borg, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe and Ivan Lendl and Goran Ivansevic used to play, still watch it but it just doesn't seem as exciting thesedays as it was back then.

Would you get the arse if I asked you which were your two favourites of that list?

Scottish tennis star in loser shocker

Only if he had have won would he have been British!

Aha, the Barry McGuigan factor. The British World Champion entered the ring but the Irish lad was left sprawled on the canvas when he lost. He must have switched passports on the way down.

I am so so so so happy I can't explain!:D
I have been able to watch the end of the third set and the 4 and 5th. I have never seen Nadal loosing a 5 set match so when he recovered in the 4 set I have confidence but at the same time I was scared...
Murray is brilliant and I think this sort of games are the ones are worth watching, long match, very good playing and quality! And I think we will see more matches between this 2 players in the future, Murray has a very good future.
I am happy because This match was very important, Nadal was failing in the important matches and I think he just recovered what it's been missing with him lately!
Lets see what will happen with Gonzalez, he is playing very very well, his been winning a lot of tournaments, and he just won Blake wich was also playing good.
I can't be happier then now!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Good times indeed, but don't forget about the days of Sampras, Agassi, Becker, et. al.

I'm probably a bit more partial to the women's game these days. When everyone is healthy (esp. the Williams and the Belgians), it's a lot better than when Navratalova and later Graf simply swept aside all comers.
