Anyone know if it will be open 4th October? I'm out for 4 days for closing and I wanted to watch the Ireland v Italy rugby World Cup match. I know there's that Irish bar in west end also.

some years ago i didn´t care much ... but now love these "oldschool"-locations a la murphys... or even stuff like f.e. bucanero in sananbay etcpp
great atmosphere especially compared to many of these newly build soulless zombie loony bins ...

Talking of Bucanero...I went to their closing party 25 oct last year, rammed, mostly locals, 2.50 a pint and free veg jalfrezi. Amongst others Jason Bye on the decks. Fantastic !!

once space as closed murphy;s shuts.seem to have lost the irish group this year.did not see any poster about them.and the old cart is not parked outside.

The car parks were flooded when I got there. The weather was crazy that day. Thunderstorms in the morning and beautiful sunshine the rest of the day.
