I cant work out why he isnt with the rest of the crew in the video? Why just cut to him throwing his dad shapes?

While without him you and your fellow Brits wouldn't probably be even aware of Ibiza. Which kinda makes me agree with you.

he was relevant for about 5 years at the start - ibiza/E/balearic beats/remixes/spectrum/elektra etc and on that, it is impossible to deny his contribution - however, as soon as he went all perfecto/bono/cream/united $tate$ of america it was game over.

many on here will naturally disagree with me on that because they grew up on the kind of big room choons epitomised by oakenfold mk#2 but I actually think oakenfold mk#1 was an infinitely more interesting proposition at a fascinating time in dance culture before the splits and commercialism that later ruined it
