Hi, Im going to Ibiza in 2 weeks for 10 nights with my wife and 2 kids. I have looking at car hire and i need a good car hire company that you collecte car at the airport as i dont fancy getting a bus to collect the car off site with cases and 2 tired kids...
I have used Moto louis before and the service is top notch but compared to other car hire firms they are a lot more expensive by at least £ 200 !!

Any ideas please?

Your comparable options are to hire from one of the on-airport companies. Those are (basically) Avis/Budget, Europcar/National, Hertz and Atesa/Enterprise. These are all unlikely to be less than Motoluis this month (probably more), but the cars are there in the car park opposite and you can return them at any hour of the day/night by leaving the key in the drop-box.

You can sometimes get discounted quotes for the big companies by looking very carefully at intermediary websites which specify whether there's a shuttle bus as against on-airport, plus they are all full-to-full fuel policy so that helps you spot deals on them. But watch the excess liabilities (Budget/Avis is very high - about 1,400Euros on a Seat Leon) and definitely insure them separately if you can because the extra premiums some of these companies offer still exclude tyres/glass/misfueling etc. etc.

Also their pick-up offices all close at midnight so you can't rent between then and 7am. Depending on where you're staying you can also get a cab to the hotel and then go back to the shuttle bus office for the car next day when the kids are happily stowed with an ice cream by the pool. Bit of a dent in the holiday for the driver but if you're there 10 days it probably isn't critical. Means you can drop it back to a shuttle bus office when everyone's calm and relaxed on the way home.

Haha nah I've just handed back a lovely brand new vw polo. Do you Spain is like the sky scanner of car rentals. My girlfriend has used it for the last 2 years to book cars. However don't use do you Spain's car insurance. Use the actual company you rent froms insurance or use a credit card and block the deposit on. Used them a lot so if any of that doesn't make sense just ask.

Its all cheap out of season!!!!!:)

(wish I was there)

I agree but for 2 weeks during the openings it's the sabe price 80€'s. I'd have thought they would be more expensive for that period. Do you Spain will give you the best price for whenever your here :)

I'll check it. Ive already paid a small deposit to rental cars .com

If u go with do you Spain. Do not get the insurance they offer, you don't need it as you get it when you actually book with the company.
