I've not posted a mix for a while but though it was about time to let loose with genreless tunes again.

First a big thank you to everyone who has downloaded my mixes in the past I know i'm not the best mixer out there, BUT HEY, let the tunes do the talking.

This is pretty much a mixed bag with a few good stompers that would grace any dancefloor, anywhere

OK brace yourself...

Firstly, Tune selection... Your mix starts soulfull, then goes a bit funkier, then a bit Bob Sinclar, then a bit "Local Ritzy" with the walk this way track and feeling hot hot hot. The Crave is a good track but then goes back to cheese. You need to keep a bit more of a constant with it. Think how the tracks are gonna sound next to each other.

Seconly mixing... It sounds like you are fighting to keep them in time. Get it in time 1st. Don't whack it in and then spend the duration of your mix wrestling with it to keep it in time. Also, you are mixing out too early. There is too much going on in there. 2 Basslines at the same time rarely sound good.

Keep at it though!

I know the tunes are a bit all over the place having listened a few times now. I like cheese and the local Ritzy. I'm bad. sorry. I did say the mix was "genreless"

Garlands here I come.......

Your comments on mixing are appreaciated and it tells me that I should use the headphones more to "make sure" before mixing in. I'm still learning and without people like yourself giving critique it's difficult to know where and what to change.
