Sandcastles is such a strange choice for Defected. I love the track, but when I picked it up last summer, it seemed a pretty tough track, certainly not something I expected a funky house label to take on !
They have another wicked melodic tech thing called "Timbuktoo" which is just as good. But equally banging.

Timbuktu is superb ... got it on 10" last summer, great tune. 8)

we don't just sign 'Funky House' in the past we've put out things like Syndicated People - Be Right, his latest stuff is coming out on DJ Hell's Label. Also stuff like Karizma - Ride EP. A lot of our new stuff is very forward thinking, i'm just predicting the backlash now

Give credit where credit is due. That is an awesome track. Got it on the cafe mambo 04 cd, and its such a great track.
