mosquito´s..how are they on ibiza this year..

im just about to get the boat over tomorrow from barcelona..
i have been biten by some right nasty mosquito on one leg, and had a bad reaction.
cant be doing with any more.
im bad enough being a brit with white legs as it is without looking like a Dalmatian tooo :rolleyes:


so just wondering if i have to be on my guard for the little sods there too??

There are a few, not too bad this year. They are worst if there is standing fresh water nearby and as it's been so dry this has likely helped to keep numbers down. Take some Repel 55 or 100 and use it if you are worried especially after dark when you can't see the blighters. It's extremely effective, if rather "non-PC". The organic stuff is probably only 50%-70% effective.

Get a plug-in from Eroski for your room/villa whatever. They work really well. I've only been bitten 2 or 3 times all year since using one and would usually have got more bites than that most evenings without it.
