Unfortunately it clashes with Deep Dish at Ministry but this is a must for me.

Im probably more looking forward to JLC than Morillo, the main arch is going to be rammed for him as always. Will try to catch Savers too.

Slightly off topic, but JLC is a musical genious!
I've never seen/heard him dj live yet, but absolutely love his remixes. And once I saw his band, Les Rhytmes Digitales, perform. It was fantastic! :D

Completely agree :D . Every single of his remixes he's done recently are superb, specially when he remixes those rock/indie tunes. Specially under his Thin White Duke guise

Only seen him once before and he didnt disapoint. Cant wait to see him at The Cross!! 8)

Having seen Morillo in the Cross a couple of years ago, I'd say you are a brave man Ferd.

I had never, ever been in a club where i thought there was a real risk of people getting seriously injured but that night there truly was - the main arch was so busy that a one point I could not move my arms from my sides and I am not a small bloke. Truly awful.

I was there that day too!!! I think I can still feel the drips of sweat from the ceiling falling on my head

I know what youre saying, my plan is catch JLC on first (im guessing he'll be doing the opening set), then get the hell out of the main arch and catch whoever is on in the funky arch. If its quietened down after Morillo i'll try to catch whenever Seb is on too :D

Im hoping the heat wave will subside by the 9th too

I think I was at that one - it was Seb's birthday and Moroillo played as a favour. I like Erick a lot when he is on form but I have to say it was the worst set I've seen him (or anybody else) play. Seemed like he was trying to be proggy and it just did not work. As BBS says, it was stupidly crowded.

If you're going to go, make sure you get into the main arch early and stay there for Erick - otherwise, you won't make it.

nah, the worst was Fatboy Slim playing the middle room a couple of years ago. Never known anything like it.

But I love Type and can't wait to make it a regular jaunt after Xmas !

Interesting that - I've only ever seen the Big Beach thing and have always wondered if Big Norm could pull off a smaller venue.

Have to say that the Cross is my favourite London venue. Have you ever seen David Guetta there (he does Type nights)?? Now there's a man likes to party:)

We used to go to Skint on Fridays at the End about 8 years ago before he got really famous and he was always excellent.

Agreed about The Cross. 8)

Yep, we've caught Guetta at Type a few times, always been brilliant. One set he did last year specially stood out as one my favourite sets of 2004.
It was a round the time he released "the world is mine"

Not sure about his recent adverts for that hair product though!!

I find the bigger state i get into, the less I notice the lack of space. Thats my plan anyway. :D

We'll have to compare nights afterwards. My plans for afters will depend on what my mates say

Have to mention that JLC aka Sturt Price has been the musical director/programmer for two of Madonna's latest tours and has co-written and produced M's new all dance album that will be out this fall :D

More info on that:

From nme.com:

Madonna announces new single details
Madonna has announced details of the first single to be taken from her new studio album.
"Hung Up" will be the first track to be lifted from the forthcoming LP "Confessions On A Dancefloor",which is expected this autumn.

According to madonna.com, the song was produced by Stuart Price aka Jacques Lu Cont, who is currently in Los Angeles mixing the album with the singer.
Price was Madonna's musical director for her 2004 Re-Invention Tour
