Morbyd.....

First half - United dominated in offense and Chelsea were average in defense. Man U only had a few chances (as did Chelsea) but took advantage of one of them.

Second half - Chelsea dominated in offense but United looked very solid in defense. Chelsea had a million chances and took advantage of none of them.

Fair play to Man U. Alan Smith showed Keane and all the doubters that he's got mettle. Even Wes Brown and Ferdinand had decent games. Chelsea showed that they really need to work on their finishing.

End of story... tomorrow's another day.

If today's result gives hope to other teams (as the Sky commentators kept repeating) then good news because it'll make the season more interesting. In reality, I think this season's already been more interesting than the previous few years because, a 3rd of the way through the season, the European spots could go to anyone (Wigan, Charlton, Man U, Tottenham, etc.) and several big clubs are in relegation trouble.

Fair warning: I'm not going to post further in this thread. Slag me and Chelsea all you want... the season is 38 games, and May is a long way away.

Neither sides looked anything special. Watched it in a pub surrounded by mouthy Irish Man U fans. Oh, the joy.

Morbyd - I think everyone wanted Chelsea to win, however the dominance Chelsea have which is clearly down to their finances is wrong and clearly even the most die-hard Chelsea fan must realise this. It is killing the game and pricing proper fans out. No offence, but you joined the Chelsea bandwagon once they started to win things. There is nothing wrong with this, but you must see why so many people are agrieved by their 'success'.
