money worries!

hi all!

i am really sorry to be startin a new one of these cos i know there is already loads but im a bit worried about money for ibiza.

i go 11th july for a week, and so far have around £570 saved up, but have recently been sacked :spank: 8O so no more money comin in!!!!

im a student and have my last 2 weeks at college right now so rushed off my feet, then i am going away with the bf for a week, so not really any time to get a job and get more money.

so does anybody think that 100 euros a day will be okay?

id like to go to Mannumision, Judgement Sunday, Fiesta Del Agua, Carl Cox opening party and Space on sunday morning and the Shipwrecked boat party! should i think about not goin to some of them? and if so, which ones?

my hotel is half board and i dont eat much anyway so food isnt really a problem and it doesnt take much to get me drunk, so i wont need to spend much money on that. but i do plan on spendin money on, erm, other things:lol: !

so please give me any advice you can, every bit helps!

and im sorry its so long!!!

Obviously only you know what your into, but personally I'd skip Judgement Sundays if any. I also think that your budget is absolutely fine. The thing that for me seems to cost the most is drinking in clubs/expensive bars. You can drink plenty elsewhere, and keep drinking in these places to a minimum.
 
i would skip the judge and the water party
drink a kedger down the beach in between space sessions+for sunsets
use the discobus
space will also refund your taxi fare if you turn up with your receipt and there is 4 in your group
you can get into pacha by buying dinner there, so you dont necesarily have to not eat. could be as cheap as 60 euros for dinner and club entry and say you do that on a friday, get a bus to pdb for a couple of euros after ipure is finished, hang about tantra till you get offered a free entry wristband to matinee the saturday morning space session
avoid taxis as much as you can if you can bare getting on a bus after a heavy night on it
space will be quiet on sunday morning i think, get a wee drink in you, go in the afternoon when its gettin busier
 
I've booked a week in september and have no job or money at the moment... these things have to be done for Ibiza though haha

I just hope I find a job soon :lol:
 
100 euros a day is more than enough as long as you don't go crazy on drinks in the clubs.

you can have a fantastic holiday on 100 euros a day:D 8)
 
Im going over for 10 days and taking 2 grand!!! But I am subsidising my brother now. Something tells me that a), im bring loads of euros back or b), im going to have a great time.

Ive always taken too much, but thats so I dont have to budget each day.
 
Money

Me & GF budget 400-450 euros a day between us but we eat lunch & diner \' nice restaurants and buy clothes & stuff. Your best bet if you only have 100e a day is to try and blag!

3 years ago I spent about €80-€130 a day for 2 weeks (toooo much totally), but we went clubbing almost every night and pre-partied in San An, and did not drink alot in the clubs. So €100/day should be fine.
 
just done the opening parties...Friday - Wednesday.....spent £900....but thats doing things without worrying...reckon i could have done it for £700 with a bit of care.......jeez , hope so...because i'm doing it all again in three weeks time...and i'm a bit skint....but what the hey....I need to be in Ibiza.......have a great time ...i will...:D
 
It really depends on what you do..

For eg.. If you go to Space on a Sunday

50 euro entry... buy a couple drinks and waters...there is your 100 euro!

but if you manage your money wisely you can do it!
 
the last 2 yrs i have bin i have spent around that much for a week and i went to a few of the clubs. i just think whatever you take u will spend. im taking a £1000 for the 10 days im there.
 
well - if it makes you feel any better............I'm flying out on Wed to work...............got 2 weeks accom and then gona have to move into workers accom there...........

And at the moment I've got £60!!

(And I've still not been shopping for anythin for it!)

Now with abit of luck I'll sort out abit more by lending and selling etc...........but I'm still gona be taking probably no more than
£3-400..............and we are gona have to pay rent of about 3-400 euros 2 weeks after getting there!...........so:

a - NEED to get a jobs immediately on getting there!
b - your in a better position than me!
 
am worried about cash to, i'm going for 2weeks and self catering. i'm just going to go to cheap pubs before for drink before hitting the clubs. what do u think is the mininum to take per day for food and going out? x x x
 
is that something u would say. its right though the first yr i went took £450 for a week spent it second yr took £600 for a week and spent that.r u going over this yr redbird

I definately recommend doing shipwrecked - it's one of the best parties over here. Basically, it's a boat full of 250 people (mostly workers) which leaves port at 7am and then spends 3 hrs floating around the med. The music is great but for me it's the atmosphere which makes it so special, everyone is just up for having a blast and with no attitude. I took my friend on last week for her first time and i was worried that i had overhyped it to her, but she said it was better than she was expecting. I go to shipwrecked most weeks and it's always a sell out.Out of the others, i'd say the Water Party is something that you could miss. It can draw a slightly chav crowd ! Cheers,Dan

DONT MISS JUDGEMENT SUNDAYS ITS AMAZIN..
BOUT 100 POUNDS STELING PER DAY, cos ull spend more on one day and less on another so average 100 per day.worked4 me an all my mates..
