Does anyone know if Moby has released a Greatest hits compilation? I really love some of his stuff but it's scattered across all of his albums, I dont realoly want ALL of them, just a collection of his hits.

Anybody know?

I have no idea but I love him too. I saw him at glasto a few years ago and it was very moving. He did the final performance and I got all emitional.. but that could have been the lack of sleep.

No he hasn't Bec, most of the singles you like are probably on Play so that would be the best one for you to buy.

Actually, I think there was one collection but I think it came out before Play so it's basically the best of his older stuff. I'll see if I can find the title...

Edit: My bad. There are 2. The one I have at home is called "Story So Far" and it's basically a collection of his early dance singles like "Go!" and some other tunes. (released in the US as "Moby").

In a quick search for the title, I found that there's also one called "Moby Songs 1993-1998".

Keep in mind these are pre-Play so if you want only his latest singles then pick up "Play", "18" and "Hotel"

And keep in mind he was hardcore before turning into electronic, so your best bet would be to buy Play.

His pseudo-punk album actually came out in between electronic albums... I remember it was around '94. That was after he'd already had his first big club hits.

Why don't you just buy the singles you like from iTunes? :)

I wouldn't even know where to start! What do you do, just download them onto your computer? I haven't got a mp3 player :?

Can your computer burn CDs?

If you have iTunes you can search the music store for Moby and then listen to clips of all his tracks. Buy and download the ones you like and burn them to CD :) You can do everything inside iTunes :) You can do it without iTunes but it's a wee bit trickier..

 You're meant to be the IT generation, it's old bints like me that should have trouble embracing technology

I'm intending to buy an Ipod, Im sure once I get one I'll get the hang of all this Itunes burning malarky. Until then though I've nothing to burn anything with/on so I'm clueless as to what you do! :?
