The Rain In Spain................. by Peter Workman 1, 23 May 2004
Just returned from attempting to get two weeks in the sun at the Mira Mola Apartments. Arrived to find we were probably the first guests of the season (arrived 1/5/04), and as such, the cleaners clearly had not been engaged, and if so, had not received the broom training yet !!

Apartments were basic to say the least, and as we were three floors up (why?), and on the end, were cold in the evening, little did we know what was coming. Yes, three days of cloud and rain confining us to the apartment where both my wife and I became champions of our mobile phone games as the apartments do not have luxuries like TV's.

We got a couple of decent days before him upstairs decided we needed drowning again, so back to the mobiles again.

To be fair, we knew the apartments were basic having stayed here before, they can't do much about the weather, but we do like the town of Figueretas.

Highlight of the two weeks has to be the excellent bar/restaurant at the end of the road the apartments are in, walking towards the beach/front, called "Prince", you can sit in or out, has sport on large TV, serves very good food all day and cheap beer (1.80 Euro's a pint), and the staff are very friendly, with the owner referring to you as "my friend", and treating his regulars very well, with free drinks!!!!

Another being the drag act (don't let that put you off, I'm not the biggest fan of them either) that appears at a bar in Playa D'en Bossa called Big Ben on a Thursday, well worth seeing, appears once a week I think.

So big up to Prince bar/restaurant, will see you next year, as for Mira Mola, nah, better off going over the road to the Sirenis apartments of further down the road to Playa Sol 2, better quality apratments with TV's. Food:

great place mira mola by Zowie Jameson, 06 Jan 2004
myself my partner and our six children aged 4,7,9,15,16 and 18 have stayed at the mira mola for the last two years.last year 2002 was the first time we had taken our youngest abroad as she was on oxygen in a wheelchair and fed through her stomach and nose , we all found everyone from staff to guests really good helpfull and friendly that is why we will be back again this year. the apartments are pretty basic but there is everything there you need and they are situated in an ideal spot if you want to go anywhere and not too noisy on a night when children need to sleep . paco the security guard makes sure no one who should't be there gets in and he also ensures the noise is kept down so all the guests are happy. from the jameson clan Food:

I stayed here 4 yrs ago. Then I found it very good. I was young then and I was always kept entertained!! I would say these apartments are for families. Mira Mola is located right by the beach which is always good and a shop is just up the road.

Thats all I can copy into here cos of the HTML Karlos
