Minimum Car Rental Age?

Can anyone enlighten me upon the minimum age that you can rent a car?

myself and my girlfriend will both be 20 when we go in september and want to visit some of the more remote areas of the island without having to resort to hiring a moped!
 
:? The best ones to try are www.easycar.com or Crown Car Hire/Europa Car.....I know Avis you have to be 25.....I´m 22 and I always struggle to find a rental car that will accept me because Im still a wee knipper in regards to insurance purposes.:lol:

Perhaps try and find a local rent a car on the web and not one of the well known names....they may have a different policy!;)
