I dread to ask as I have read the little b#ggers are swarming around the Balearics BUT - are there many medusa/jellyfish around this year. I have spent literally hours each day in previous years using my little fishing net to hoist the little s#ds out of the water and onto the sand/rocks.

I was on the island. One day the sea at cala gracionetta was red with them! I couldnt believe my eyes . Also at san miguel one day it was impossible to get in ! Ruins the beach a bit, when you cant get in the sea!

Does anyone know whta the sting is like on these little buggers?

A colleague just returned from San An last week to confirm my worst fears - the sea was red with the little b#ggers - never mind motorways, give the money to the fishermen to trawl them over to Mallorca or something

best way to rid rid of sting.is to pee on it,mind you the weed is still a problem as well.
