Hey we nearly met at last and at least got to speak to you McRackin - I didn't even get to San Jose this year to call you Stephen - apologies to you both!
Glad your car is back together McRackin, I now have to try and get the robbery sorted out and it looks like my wifes phone and glasses were not covered by insurance.

could you not have engaged the help of the operator to call long distance from es cana?

I understood the arrangement was to ring you when I was in San Jose so you would not have to stagger far home after a few whiskies ;)
to be honest, it was so hot this year, particularly the first week which was stifling(?) that we did less than half the mileage we usually do
 
Sorry my friend, I know near Cubellis is not far from San Jordi but in the heat of the last two weeks it seemed a hell of a long way from Es Cana.
By the way, the manager of the hotel where I stay has a house in San Jordi so maybe I can arrange a double visit if I return to the island again.
