You must be joking?? Hed kandi is more of a european thing but soulseek is international. There's no way that the hed kandi albums are the most popular thing.

I would assume that they would be pretty peeved that their albums are available for free. A common argument is that people use mp3s to 'trial' an artists music before buying it... I think this is the biggest amount of BS!! Sure, some people do it that way but my guess is at least 90% dont.

Im not really a fan of downloading tunes to the point whereby i dont buy stuff.

Theres something about having the cd on your shelf and actually feeling like you own the tunes.

That plus the fact that sometimes the quality is poor anyhow.

i admit to downloading about 70% of my music these days i play soulful house and i wouldn't really download that style of music as i like to get the actual releases on vinyl but i download loads of albums and other genres

i down load the odd song from soulseek but its always to hear what the whole song is like before i purchase it on vinyl normally from an internet based shop.

I think Djs that use illegal mp3's should be shot. The advent of file sharing has really reduced the shelf life of most tracks coming out at the moment, esepcially as people can download song before they even have a proper release.

Last week my local HMV were selling all Hed Kandi CD's 'buy one get one free'!!! 8O I bought a few and will be back again this week, just hope the promotion is still going by the time I get there. :D

Most european CDs and sets are double the price here what you would pay over there... so yes, I download, but I do buy also.
