mastercard cash machines in san antonio

can anyone tell me if you can use a mastercard card in most of the cash machines in san antonio or not? last year i had one of those cash passports which was a visa, and that worked in just about every cash machine, but this year im looking to take a mastercard one. the atm locator on the mastercard site is saying theres only 2 in san antonio that take mastercard, but im guessing im doing something wrong. i would have thought most would take it, but thought id see if anyone can shed any light.

My Euro-denominated debit card is a MasterCard and I've always been able to pull cash from machines anywhere on the island. Most machines take both.

I usually stay on the other side of the island but as far as San An goes, I specifically remember using the machine at the bank 2 blocks up the hill from Mambo's.

Also, don't forget that you can use your card at restaurants, stores and such. I try to keep my cash for cash-only situations (cafes, small shops, nightclubs - the latter sometimes have a high minimum spend per charge)
