Mark, Chewie - Getting ready to go out tonight, I played your mixes for the missus for the first time.

Mark - she says your summer mix is too hard... reminded her of over-medicated raving Moscow teenagers  They have this dance they do that I call 'it's a small world' - they dance rotating their hands back and forth in front of them as if they were cupping a small sphere
(don't worry, Mark... I quite enjoyed it ;) )

Chewie - she's loving your mix #10. It's got her all in the mood to pah-tay. She especially liked the mix of Most Precious Love that you found (more vocals). The next song (Sun Rising Up?) is also a great version of the tune. Well done. You get the Irina seal of approval.

Although I think Chews mixes are good, they are a bit soulful/latin for my taste. Was getting down to a Mark Sun & Anil Chawla set on my comp while decorating earlier  Just to balance out the view of Morbyds missus! ;)

Its a lil bit of the Roger influence :P :P I noticed it as well, and it is ALL GOOD! (Chewie knows how I feel about S-man :D 8) )

Like both very much, just depends upon my mood. It is fun listening because I am getting to know both people more and more as the days pass. 8) 8) Both very unique styles.

The missus is more into funky house than anything else. I also went through a funky house stage the past couple of years but nowadays it all depends on my mood as to whether I want to hear something soulful, something dirrrrty, or something more techy or electro.

Anyway, well done to both you guys. Someday I'll have to get off my butt and learn to mix like you guys

So when do we get another mix outta you, Mr Sun?

Chewie is the most soulful asian on earth. Living in Essex, I guess it's best that he came out that way! I have a latin/souful preference. I have the Pendulum lp for the hard moments...

the best thing that one can say about chewie and his mixes
is that they're not among the followers....

by that i mean they have all the newest and 'best' tracks
and are following all the latest rage which most up and coming dj's seem to think is necesary to be good or a 'musical authority'

chew plays the tried and true hits that have soul and flavor and
make you smile and move your feet....

we call his cd's HAPPY HOUSE :)

I went to see John Julius Knight at Cielo on friday and i felt like I was listening to Chewie...the only difference is he's african american, not asian and lives here LOL

love ten too...its my ipod workout mix for the track!
