Marco V

marco v plays mainly progressive and trance, but mostly a bit on the deeper side, and sometimes also a bit of techno. heard him already a few times, always thought he was good! also like his 3cd combi:nation a lot.
 
seen marco at the arches a month ago and what a ****in set he played. played a few of his classics like "godd" "loops n things" more than a life away false light. can any one tell me when false light will be relesed on vinyl ?? thanx alot

You'll need to buy his album on vinyl, I bought it especially to get False Light and Automanual, but there are other good tunes on it like Red Blue Purple and More Than A life Away:

I survived the evening :lol:

D:Fuse opened up the night. FABULOUS... he even had congas set up by his tables... I had never really heard someone skilled enough to conga to proggy tunes and make it sound awesome.

Marco V's set was GREAT and just my speed until about two hours in to it. It was really spooky progressive, with sweet transitions. Then it just got too hard and pounding for me. Maybe because I was so tired from my crazy work week! I felt like a little granny towards the end lol. I got to meet him backstage and he was such a nice, animated man. When I walked back there, he was just chilling and talking to the staff and some partiers just as natural as could be. Nice to see. Overall a very enjoyable set and I will definitely be going to see him again when I am not so exhausted. ;)
 
i had just labelled myself as an electro girl the first time i saw marco v at cream on boxing night. i had planned to watch half marco v set half steve lawler as they were playing at the same time but ended up staying for all of marco v as i thought he was wicked. never danced so much and my night was on par with some of my best nights in ibiza. it was quite hard techno at times which i didn't think i liked but i loved his set and it kept me going all night (unaided!) i have been looking out for v's on posters since and found him! playing near me in preston this sat. will def be going even though i should be saving. :roll: :D

PachaGirl,, glad u had a great time ;) wait till u see him in ibiza this summer! ur not skipping it like last year.. are you? :twisted:
