Marco Polo 2?????????

Never stayed there but will be checking in on Monday night for 11 nights! When are you going?

Will let you know what it's like when we're back if you've not already left for the white isle.

I used Trip Advisor for some reviews, looks OK to me, it's not the Ritz but has air con, a fridge and it's in a good central location - musn't grumble!
 
I am off there this saturday to Marco Polo 2 and having read numerous reviews it seems ok for what it is. Compared to some of the hotels that are getting bad reviews this one would seem ok.

Agreed, and we got it for such a cheap price you can't expect the world!

There's 11 of us checking in on Monday night!
 
So excited now, booked this last September so the anticipation has really built up!

Yeah, the weather's lookin great now, add some chilled San Miguel's and I'm sure we'll all have a wicked crack!

Guys, I hope youenjoy the marco Polo 2, I had an email at 4:30 yesterday to say that my booking had been cancelled due to over booking and I was beeing moved to another hotel!!!

They tried to put us in a hotel at the far end of San Bay saying it was 'very close' to my original booking - I told them to do one instead!

Have you ever tried to book a party of 11 into the same hotel 5 days before you arrive in one of the busiest resorts on the island - not easy but with a lot of effort we managed!

Have a great time and let me know how the hotel is!

What other hotels are in this group El Ste? Just so that I avoid them in the future!

We booked in Feb so to get an email (not even a call) yesterday when we leave on Monday left me quite angry! Especially when they were happy to pick the phone up the day before to tell me I had an outstanding balance with them (I hadn't, it was there mistake!!).

Had to take what was available so now we're staying in the Royal Hostal close to the West End, it has air con and a mini-fridge but no pool but I'm sure there'll be one or two about we can use!!
 
i think my booking was with first choice or something so hopefuuly ok. thought holidays were supposed to be relaxing not causing **** before even go
 
I stayed here in june , to be honest it was great gd laugh with everyone
gd air con that was the best part freezin when you went in

going back here tomoz night so it shall be gd !
