What's everyone else diggin?

1. Vanish (Henry’s Out of the Blue mix) - D-Saw feat. Xenia Beliayeva // Terrace
Quick, clickety percussion over a lovely warm, round bassline - quite minimal but with a groove and a momentum that'll get your head nodding.
2. Standing up (Stefan Goldman remix) - Tim Paris feat. Allonymous // Crack Speed
Fabulously crisp bleep-clickety (yep, loving that work and the sound!) production and a smooth male vocal
3. Reuse - DNCN // Gatspiel recordings
Just a perfectly formed bit of percussion, punchy and funky, soothed out with some simple pad chords.
4. Deeper (Simon Baker mix) - Anil Chawla & Dale Anderson // Saved
The Liptrick interpretation of this amazing tune - stripped back percussive elements but appropriating some of the more salient moments from the original.
5. Chasing Shadows – Tim Davison // CDR
Gorgeous! Quite New-Order-esque at times, with that Hook-like guitar, and manages to be both atmospheric AND punchy at the same time - keep an eye/ear out for this one.
6. Dawnlight – Mark Sun // CDR
Back in my own charts after gaining some fantastic reactions on the dancefloors of Tunrmills, AKA and the factory in the last couple of months.
7. Acid house memories - Deepgroove // Benchmarc
Does what it says on the tin! Bouncy & fun acid line bound to bring back hazy but nice memories.
8. Choral (Shafunkers mix) - Stu Hirst // Strawberry Blonde
Uses elements of Stu's pretty original to space out before slamming in with a very, very BIG bassline. Did I mention how BIG the bassline is?
9. Out of my mind (Daniel Taylor mix) - Lee Coombs // Adrift
Daniel Taylor just GETS IT. He knows exactly where to place each element of a tune to maximum effect, and this rolling acid-tinged-tech-house remix of Lee Coombs' storming breaks tune is no exception.
10. unknown 3 - Style Rockets // white
Punchy as hell, cuts the air like a nail-gun and wacks you in the chest like a rampaging Maori winger. Doesn't sound fun, but it is.

Haven't done this in ages, so in no order whatsoever....

Stu Hirst - The Floor, just love the vocal... Bit slow and minimal though (sorry Stu) love it though...
Destination Earth 1999 - Newcleus, Basic, run of the mill track, doesn't really do anything but I'm still loving it. One of them tunes...
