Manumission reviews ???

Anybody go on monday ? what's the vibe this year ?
8) Yes I went and had the second best ever club night of my life but READ ON..... Manumission theme this year includes a huge dolls house but the visual highlight is the awesome giant (about 30feet high??) naked female puppet with spliff in one hand & TV remote controller in the other. When she moves you sit up & take notice!! Some dangerous acrobatics on & off, and a rather tasteful dance by 20-odd naked ladies. A big plus with manumission is the way the sound engineers rig up the speaker system considering the mammoth scale of the event. Now (for me) the downside; too many people go to manumission just to be able to say they went, so there tend to be a high percentage of non-dancers who often just stand by a podium staring at their favourite girlie; this doesn´t help. So, around 7 a.m. & off to Space, got in the door at about 8 & had the best 5 hours clubbing ever!! The place was jammed with people who only had one thing on their mind, the crowd vibe was 100% the sound system was as near perfect as I´ve ever heard, the DJs knew what they were doing, all the elements were there. Go to Manumission but don´t dare go home at 7 a.m. I´d rate the two halves as follows: Manumission 7 out of 10, Space 9 out of 10. I hope this is helpful, anyone else do the two clubs on Monday/Tuesday? Love to hear what you thought...

Overall I had a great time. Great production...like a broadway show with Striptease. I spent most of the time chillen at the patio on the left or the dancefloor upstairs. Being in VIP was fun too as I got to chat with Eric Morillo and party with euro jetsetters. Never made it to the afterparty tho - I was dead tired. Who were those djs btw?

I had a good night too, although i found the music seemed almost coreographed sp? to the dancers styles and theatrics. It was an overall good night. Got a little caught in the q though so i missed a lot of the night. not to rammed which was good

Sorry, but I thought it was crap. Especially the music! The DJ who played till 3am was alright (Jeff Mills playing a house set??? Or some look-a-like:)), but the one from 3am till 6am was really bad. Didn't think the show wasn't that impressive either. Those house of dolls parts were way too short. Not worth your 40 euros! Your better off at Cocoon! 8)

Disappointing!

For me the Manumission-Opening-Party on Monday 5th July was really disappointing:
got there with my friends at about 0.15h (as one of the first) and had to wait till 1.00h till entrance begun (seemed they were just in the middle of preperations for the party at the time we waited - even tough official beginning was at 00.00h)
The music was not very good the whole evening - did not even see many people dancing - most of them just stood around and starred at the stage or got stuck whenever they wanted to to another place of the disco.
And the show was not a quarter as good as I expected, some performances from artists that you can see in every average circus, gogo-dancers that did not convince me (an the rest of the crowd it seemed) - that is not was I expect for € 40,-- (€ 50 was the official price).
I left at about 04.00h and do definitely not regret that I did not stay there longer.
So I don`t think I will go to Manumission again my next time on Ibiza.

The dancers with the Manumission outfits looked to me as being just some random people picked from the street and given a dress. Most of them didn't even really dance (could also be due to the dismal music) but just kinda waved with their arms and tapped a bit with their feet.

One of the worst nights. Music extremely poor, the show was the same and the people were worse. Cracking club if it was a good event though.
