Just wondering if anyone went to the opener and if so what the verdict was?
I was planning to go 8/4, but was also considering PP.
Thanks

Yep - I went with my mate and it was the most surreal experience ever.

Imagine dancing in a club the size of Wembley Arena or a football stadium with a massive stage at one end and a small stage in the middle of the club. Dancing around for an hour, then suddenly the music cuts off completely. on the small stage is an old spanigh gent strumming his guitar and a flamenco dancer clicking her feet in traditional spanish style. This goes on for 10minutes, then the clubbing music cuts in again, and the club continues as nothings happened. Then after about another hour, music cuts, three african dancers on the small stage, dance a traditional african dance. Goes on for 10 mins then the clubbing music cuts in again. Me and my mate stood looking at each other thinking what the hell is going on!!!! We were freaked out, since he was on the pills and i was pissed. Then at about 5am, dj cuts the music, and three coffins fall from the ceiling on a bunjee rope, bouncing up and down, then the coffin door opens and men dressed as skeletons come out also on bunjee ropes , waving their arms. Whilst on stage there's 5 massive skeletons dancing about with spears. this goes on for about 20 minutes to a piece of music. Then it cuts back to the dj playing electro house. By this time we were properly freaked - it was just so surreal. One minute your in the biggest club in the world then the next there's some africans on stage bouncing around, then skeletons. It was a very funny evening!!!!!

I would recommend going to anyone, as this was my first time i was a bit worried about exactly what was going to happen. But it was all good in the end and was an weird yet worthwhile experience.

We got in about 1.30am after an 1/2hour queue but i did hear that a couple of thousand people got turned away coz the owner didnt want the place to be too rammed for the first night. My personal suggestion is to get there about the same time, if not earlier. Also bare in mind, its one of those things you'll probably only ever or go to once, so make the most of the crazy night and enjoy it whilst the event is still on. We heard rumors from an PAcha PR girl, that the promotors of Manumission are on serious bad terms with Priviledge and the event almost didn't happen at all this year. She had very good sources that know for a fact that they are already looking for another venue for next year and are even considering moving it to another country if they cannot get Priviledge. Whether i believe this or not is another matter as you cant trust every tom dic or harry. But if you do go, have a weird and great night.
